So I wanted to post one more time over here before I leave for CALIIIIIII tomorrow! Chyeah.
So this project was again, another one of my favorites. I hand stitched this glass seed beaded bracelet for my besties 25th birthday. 25, huge birthday! Quarter century baby! Had to make something amazing for her. She is a huge Day of the Dead fan, #1 fan actually; so that was my starting point. I have always been a fan of beaded bracelets, they are stunning and the amount of effort & love that goes into them makes them even more special.
I ended up stumbling upon an absolutely perfect pattern and decided that this was the prefect gift. SO… I taught myself how to stitch peyote bracelets… in a very (very) limited amount of time. But, in the end (not sure how) I pulled it off, and successfully made a beautiful gift to pass along to my gal pal :)
I used size 11/0 glass seed beads and thin nymo nylon thread.
Wah-la <3 Another labor of love, 3,500 TINY beads, but well, WELL worth it. This beauty shines like a diamond. I love the result and I ended up teaching myself something new which I am very proud of!
Now off to Cali!
